Winter Bird Walk

Join us as we search for flocks of winter sparrows, bright yellow warblers, and perhaps and elusive red sapsucker. We also hope to welcome some of our earliest migrating hummingbirds back to the garden this month! Led by Ornithologist Chris Carmichael.

East Bay World History Reading Group: A History of the World in Seven Cheap Things by Moore and Patel

Teachers in ORIAS World History Reading Groups read one book each month within a global studies theme. Participants meet monthly to eat and spend two hours in collegial conversation. It is a relaxing, intellectually rich atmosphere for both new and experienced teachers.
