Dr. Debal Deb is a researcher in conservation biology and ecology and founder of Vrihi (the first non-governmental indigenous rice seed bank for folk farmers). He is the author of several books on ecological sustainability, and is currently a resident at I-House.

Join Debal Deb to discuss the indigenous cultures in South Asia and how they protect a plethora of biodiverse species in today’s globalized world.

Admission is FREE for I-House residents, alumni and members, $5 for UC Berkeley students and staff, $10 for the general public
