The UC Human Rights Fellows Conference brings together inspiring human rights researchers and advocates to present their fellowship projects.Graduate students work with leading organizations in the field on cutting edge human rights projects.

Learn more about current human rights work in California and around the world, including Argentina, Burma, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, India, Mexico, Senegal, and Venezuela; and diverse issues including Guantanamo detainees, gender violence, police abuse and climate change.

10:15 - 11:30am - Water, Land and Livelihoods
11:30am - 12:45pm - Legal and Political Protections
1:30 - 2:30pm - Environmental Justice and Sustainability
2:30 - 3:45pm - Health and Safety of Vulnerable Populations
3:45 - 5:00pm - Media Advocacy for Social Change
Concurrent - Human Rights Poster Session
