Film - Documentary | November 9 | 7 p.m. | International House, Auditorium

International House

"Ghana-Digital Dumping Ground"
As digital television conversion makes tens of millions of analogue tv's obsolete, and Americans continue to trash computers and cell phones at alarming rates, FRONTLINE/World presents a global investigation into the dirty secret of the industrial age- the dumping and dangerous re-cycling of hundreds of millions of pounds of electronic waste across the developing world. The report also uncovers another byproduct of our disposable culture- data fraud, as thousands of old hard drives are finding their way into criminal hands.

"Egypt Middle East Inc."
In Egypt, a country that suffers from the highest rate of youth unemployment in the world, FRONTLINE/World reporter Amanda Pike finds an organizations trying to cultivate the next generation of entreprenuers. She follows along as it pits the best student companies against each other in a nail-biting competition.

Frontline Executive Director Sharon Tiller and Charlotte Buchen, Producer Reporter, Frontline will discuss these fasinating documentaries following the screenings.
