Youth Designing Our Future Cities

Lecture | April 27 | 6:30-8 p.m. |  Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive

Arts + Design, City of Richmond

Presented by the City of Richmond and UC Berkeley Arts + Design.

Youth will be living in the cities of the future, so they should be engaged in every level of planning for them. This panel brings together youth leaders from RYSE Center, the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, Groundwork Richmond, and other organizations and initiatives to share the ways in which they are planning the future of the city of Richmond. Creating art initiatives and constructing community gardens, developing green jobs and building youth councils, consulting with architects and establishing sustainable funding streams—these young leaders will share their visions, dreams, projects, and plans.
