Sale | December 8 – 13, 2019 every day | 8 a.m.-5 p.m. | South Side of Mulford Hall
It's time for UC Berkeley Forestry Club's annual Christmas Tree sale! Every year, students travel to the Sierra Nevada to harvest trees donated by Sierra Pacific Industries, which would not normally survive to maturity. Students hand-fall your very own holiday tree! The species that are to be harvested are white fir and incense-cedar. Other species can be requested, but may not be available depending on how the harvest goes.
Tree sizes range from 2 feet to 10 feet, with larger trees available upon request.
The deadline to fill out the interest form is December 5th, 2019. We will be cutting trees from Sierra Pacific Industries' land in El Dorado County on December 7th. We will begin selling trees on Sunday, December 8th at 8AM. The sale will last from Sunday the 8th to Friday the 13th, 8AM - 5PM each day (or until we run out). The sale will be located on the south side of Mulford Hall on the UC Berkeley campus. Trees will be sold at $6/foot on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other items such as wreaths and Cal Forestry merchandise may also be available for purchase. This our main fundraiser for the year, and all proceeds will go to help fundraise our annual trip to the Society of American Foresters Convention as well as other club events.
Thanks so much for your support!
