MATRIX artist Kader Attia is joined in conversation by Stefania Pandolfo, a professor of anthropology at UC Berkeley. They will discuss Attias approach to the concept of repair and healing after physical and psychological injury, particularly in a postcolonial context.
Pandolfos research involves the study of theories and forms of subjectivity and their contemporary predicaments in the Middle Eastern and Muslim world. Her publications include Impasse of the Angels: Scenes from a Moroccan Space of Memory and the forthcoming The Thin Line of Modernity in Some Moroccan Debates on Subjectivity.
