Exhibit - Multimedia | February 8 – June 30, 2019 every day | Moffitt Undergraduate Library, 2nd floor
In the pantheon of the late nineteenth- and early twentieth-century artists who represent Mexico and Mexican art, the artwork of José Guadalupe Posada stands out as a bright constellation that continues to shine a light on important stories through woodcuts, imprints, and engravings. This exhibition was created using the books from the collections of the Doe Library. The exhibition is envisioned and curated by Dr. Liladhar P., the Librarian for the Caribbean and Latin American Studies Collections. There is a virtual counterpart of the exhibition and it is located here: http://exhibits.lib.berkeley.edu/spotlight/art-of-posada
Cal Id is required to access the exhibition. The exhibition will go on through the end of June 2019 in the Moffitt Library.
