Accenture Labs incubates and prototypes new concepts through applied R&D projects that are expected to have a significant strategic impact on Accenture and its clients. Our dedicated team of technologists and researchers work with leaders across the company and business partners to invest in, incubate, and deliver breakthrough ideas and solutions that help our clients create new sources of business advantage.

Accenture will be bringing 3 speakers to talk about their work and answer any questions you may have.

David Vinson is an Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist at Accenture Labs. His research focuses on building AI tools geared towards solving future problems before they occur. His interests are in understanding the contexts that impact successful and efficient communication & information transfer. This involves working closely with an innovative interdisciplinary team of researchers collaborating on anything from the development of new tools to enhancing the efficiency of data processing to teaming with robots in the workplace. He received his PhD in Cognitive and Information Science from the University of California, Merced.

Robert Dooley is part of the Digital Experiences team at Accenture Labs, focused on how technology innovations are going to change the way we go about working, shopping, learning, and living. He’s developed a multitude of virtual reality, mixed reality, and wearable based applications for Accenture and its clients. He graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

Naomi Nishihara works on Accenture’s Technology Vision team. The Vision is Accenture’s premier thought leadership, which explores technology trends that will have the greatest impact on business 3-5 years in the future. Prior to joining Accenture, Naomi was a technology and business journalist, and worked at a media startup. She has a Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley.
