Reading - Literary | February 22 | 12-1 p.m. | Sproul Plaza
Hosted by graduate students and faculty in Comparative Literature
Reading for Resistance is an event series at UC Berkeley which aims to mobilize the community, drawing on the force of poetry in an age of discriminatory policies and discourses. Reading for Resistance is a poetry marathon in which all members of the Berkeley community and beyond can share a poem of their choice and speak their mind.
In response to the growing pressures of discrimination, intolerance, and hatred, our upcoming event will celebrate LOVE. Although we encourage bringing love-themed, love-infused poetry, this event is open to any poems from across all languages, cultures, and communities. Join us, and bring a poem to read!
