Maps and More: Mapping the Dakota Access Pipeline
Tour/Open House | February 10 | 11 a.m.-12 p.m. | 50 McCone Hall
This event is a collaboration of the Ethnic Studies Library, Geography graduate students, and the Earth Sciences & Map Library. We will feature maps of oil and gas infrastructure, as well as ones that illustrate the region's complex history and dynamics. Cartographer Molly Roy will also give a short introduction to her research and process in creating her map "Defending Sacred Water: the Dakota Access Pipeline in context," now in review for publication in Guerrilla Cartography's Water: an atlas.
