Trudy Buehring, Professor of the Graduate School, School of Public Health
Dr. Buehring will discuss the application of the Bradford-Hill causation criteria to help solve a long-term mystery and plan better strategies for primary prevention of breast cancer and perhaps other cancers. Dr. Buehring has been a cancer researcher on the School of Public Health faculty for 35 years. Her research applies biologic laboratory methods, epidemiology, and statistics to learn what causes breast cancer and how it can be prevented.
