Be Well at Work - Elder Care Program
With the loss of family, friends, and community, an elder may be more alone now than at any other time in their lives, leaving them vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness. In addition, they may be at increased risk for related health problems such as cognitive decline, depression and heart disease. This class will provide education around social isolation, loneliness and associated risk factors, as well as presentations about resources to increase connection and meaning in an elders life, while providing respite for caregivers.
