Aarti Naik, Deepa Pawar, and Naween Mangi are three social workers who for the past several years have focused on gender and poverty issues in India and Pakistan.

Please join us for a panel discussion and hear about their development work and the social impact that their work has helped bring about.

Aarti Naik, Deepa Pawar, and Naween Mangi are also the top three finalists in Tell Her Story, a contest designed to showcase remarkable women in and from South Asia who fight against social injustice. They will be in residence in UC Berkeley during the week of September 11 and on Sunday, September 16 will be participating in the Tell Her Story Gala where the contest winner will be selected. Speaker Bios
