Barrio Manouche
Barrio Manouche is an acoustic San Francisco-based international septet (Spain, Quebec, France, Brazil and California) playing music that will take you on a magical journey, frequently joined by artists from around the globe. The ensemble has been recognized for its surprise concerts, innovative style, complex technique, and their passion for their musical improvisation.

The band performs a repertoire of original instrumental compositions with a unique sound that it’s difficult to classify but instantly recognizable deeply influenced by a range of musical traditions, from the swing of Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, to the hot jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli, the gypsy soul of eastern Europe, the flamenco of Paco de Lucía to the avant-garde sounds of Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman and John Coltrane…

George Cole
George Cole has a genre-spanning music career that ranges far and wide. Cole, the suave crooner with the golden pipes, is a six-string guitar slinger of the highest possible order. George is the bandleader for his Gypsy Jazz & Uptown Swing group and the current guitarist for the David Grisman Sextet.

Garnering rave reviews and standing ovations, George Cole has dazzled audiences at musical landmarks across the country. A San Francisco East Bay native, George was guitar instructor and mentor to 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt of Green Day. Jazz legend Keely Smith handpicked Cole to play guitar and sing duets with her on her last tour. Chris Isaak also had Cole lay down guitar tracks on his platinum selling Forever Blue release.

“George Cole and his band puts you in a sexy European dream. Think Paris…and red wine…and new love, lost in a kiss on a wet cobblestone street.”
