Berkeley-Tokyo Summer School "Geometry, Representation Theory, and Mathematical Physics": Spectral covers and wall-crossing in 4d and 2d

Seminar | August 29 | 10-11:30 a.m. | 375 LeConte Hall

 Dmitry Galakhov, UC Berkeley

 Department of Mathematics

I will describe some physical approaches to calculation of motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants – protected spin characters of BPS states in class S theories. We will discuss a "refined" counting of special real loci (Stokes lines) on spectral covers and application to construction of Reshetikhin-Turaev-Witten invariants.
