Kristen Southworth is a partner at Southworth Chavez & Day-Seiter in Orinda. Her firm focuses on elder law,special needs issues and trusts & estates. Ms. Southworth volunteers weekly at Legal Assistance for Seniors for which she received the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services, is a participant in the State Bar’s Educating Seniors Project, and is a member of the Alameda County Bar Association, Contra Costa Bar Association and the East Trusts and Estates Lawyers.

Kathleen Day-Seiter received her BA from the University of California at Riverside, her Masters of Social Welfare with a specialization in gerontology from the University of California at Berkeley, and her JD from Rutgers University – Newark. She worked as a medical social worker for over twenty years advocating for the needs of the elderly and disabled in both California and New Jersey prior to becoming an attorney.
