Poet and performer Trisha Low, based in the East Bay, is author of The Complete Purge and Socialist Realism. Though not identifying as a poet, Tatiana Luboviski-Acosta has been researching democide and radical motherhood in Latin America, and ended up writing a book, The Easy Body, that grew out of their emotional relationship to this work. Los Angeles–based Elaine Kahn has an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is the author of Romance or The End and Women in Public.
