This 6.5 hour in-person workshop for staff is part of the BPM Grow Your Team series and is an elective option for the UC People Management Certificate.
The content covers fundamental tools and techniques to communicate effectively with your team, colleagues, manager, and other across the organization.
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Have effective conversations through listening, asking questions, and engaging others
Use the appropriate communication mechanism and technique at the right time
Conduct productive one-on-one and team meetings
Develop executive summaries to share information and deliver engaging presentations
Communicate with others using emotional intelligence principles and practices
Overcome obstacles to emotionally charged conversations
