Performing Arts - Other | April 14 | 4 p.m. | Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the Space Lady was seen busking on the streets of San Francisco and Berkeley, unmistakable for her blinking winged helmet and her inimitable singing of cover tunesaccompanied on an early model Casiotone keyboardwafting ethereally above the noise of city traffic. Today, she is a stage performer with a deeply loyal, worldwide cult following. The Space Lady will perform a selection of her psychedelic synth pop.
