This 7 hour in-person workshop is part of the BPM Grow Your Knowledge series and is an elective option for the UC Systemwide People Management Certificate. In this highly interactive workshop, each participant’s experience is drawn upon for the learning. Ideally, to contribute to and enhance understanding, participants will come with current and/or previous people management experience.

The content explores the importance of creating inclusive work environments and effective teams. It examines the principles of equity and inclusion, emotional intelligence, and managing a multi-generational workforce.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Apply principles of equity and inclusion to their work environment
Proactively treat team members with fairness and respect
Identify how to motivate individuals to contribute their talents and ideas and perform at their best.
