Max Lieblich, Robert Guralnick and Pham Tiep
During RRR week (4/30-5/4), the number theory and arithmetic geometry RTG will be holding a workshop. The workshop will have lecture series in the mornings and discussion/problem solving sessions in the afternoons in small groups. Max Lieblich will be giving a lecture series on recent progress on the Tate conjectures, and Robert Guralnick and Pham Tiep will be lecturing about group theory and applications to number theory and arithmetic geometry.
Schedule of the morning talks: Monday (in 1015 Evans): 9:30-10:30 Lieblich, 11-12 Tiep. Tuesday (in 740 Evans): 9:30-10:30 Guralnick, 11-12 Lieblich Wednesday (in 1015 Evans): 9:30-10:30 Tiep, 11-12 Lieblich Thursday (in 740 Evans): 9:30-10:30 Guralnick, 11-12 Lieblich Friday (1015 Evans): Presentations by the working groups 10-11:30.
To join the afternoon working groups please email: Tate conjecture working group: Harrison Chen and Ravi Fernando.
