Come out to DataVisor's tech talk this Tuesday to hear about latest developments in unsupervised machine learning and Big Data! Dinner will be provided.

Topic: Unsupervised - How DataVisor Finds Fraud Without Labels
Date: Tuesday, February 13th
Time: 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Location: Wozniak Lounge

Talk Abstract: Traditional fraud solutions are in a constant cat-and-mouse game with attackers. Supervised machine learning models, the best fraud approach before DataVisor, quickly become outdated when attackers evolve their attack techniques. DataVisor’s patent-pending unsupervised approach finds new attacks without manual intervention. DataVisor’s customers are among the largest online services in the world, including Yelp, Pinterest, Letgo, Alibaba, and more.

Speaker: Julian Wong, VP of Customer Success at DataVisor
Julian Wong (Berkeley BS '99, NYU MBA ‘09) is a fraud and security detection industry veteran. As Head of Trust & Safety at Indiegogo and Etsy, he developed scalable systems and teams for mitigating fraud and risks. Prior to that, Julian led Google’s engineering team responsible for preventing fraud on its ad platform.
