Tune in to a new episode of The Graduates this Tuesday to hear from Ashley Smiley, biologist and biomechanician in the Department of Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley. Ashley's research focuses on understanding the unique flight behavior of hummingbirds. In the interview, Ashley describes the field of biomechanics and tells us all about her work in South America filming and studying flight patterns and aerodynamics of hummingbirds.
