Animal Signs Discovery Station: Local Night Creatures

Special Event | October 28 | 12-2:30 p.m. |  UC Botanical Garden

 Botanical Garden

For a pre-Halloween treat, we will give our Animal Signs Discovery Station a "Neighborhood Night Critters" theme. The Animal Signs Discovery Station shows you how we can learn about animals through 'signs' left behind in the environment (tracks, scat, scratches or marks on leaves/trees, digging, disturbed vegetation, constructed structures, etc.). Movement of animals, animal behavior and/or plant and animal interaction are suggested as a result of observing signs. Also learn about the many animals that visit the Botanical Garden.

For our Night Critters theme, we will feature nocturnal animals such as bats, raccoons, and foxes! Want to see what's inside bat scat?

Free with Garden Admission. Find the Discovery Station on the Tribute Brick Plaza.
