Samsung Semiconductor-Device-Solutions of San Jose is recruiting now for 2018 Summer Interns (and a few FTEs) – Open roles in areas like deep learning, computer vision, memory architecture, 5G systems engineers, and more!

They are presenting a tech talk next Monday October 30 from 5:30 to 7pm in the Woz Lounge (Soda 430), where you can discuss some of their many projects.

Dr. Farshid Moussavi1, Principal Algorithm Scientist at Samsung’s Strategy and Innovation Center will discuss existing approaches to perception for autonomous vehicles, and promising new directions on which SSIC is collaborating with Berkeley Deep Drive and BAIR, where SSIC was a founding member of the predecessor BVLC in 2013.

Mr. Vishwesh Pai2, Sr. Manager, Product Management in the cloud platform of SSIC’s IOT program and ex-product engineer at Qualcomm and Amazon, will discuss the development of an end-to-end cloud services and API stack for Samsung’s ARTIK family of IOT processors which enables a more comprehensive developer ecosystem for consumer, and industrial IOT services.
