Arista Networks Info-Session

Information Session | August 30 | 6-7:30 p.m. | Soda Hall, Wozniak Lounge (430)

Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS)

A general overview about Arista, opportunities, and what we work on, diving into some greater detail about what some of us work on. As always, there will be pizza, and we'll be collecting resumes and have a few engineers to chat with after.

About Us:

Arista Networks was founded to deliver software driven cloud networking solutions for large data center and high-performance computing networks. We're continuing to deliver this, while also modernizing both our software and hardware, setting new trends in the networking industry and driving costs down. We do that by using merchant silicon, instead of fabricating our own hardware; using a Unix based operating system, which, unlike a proprietary operating system, provides great extensibility and leverages the existing and familiar Unix tools; creating a containerized version of our operating system for any hardware; better and simpler orchestration and provisioning abilities of whole networks; state streaming, analytics, and machine learning efforts for more powerful, real time network analysis and monitoring.
