Workshop | September 23 | 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. | 117 Dwinelle Hall
Calling all Berkeley faculty and lecturers! Come and learn how to integrate the concept of sustainability into your courses. Brainstorm ideas for including sustainability principles in curricula across campus from art history to literature to gender studies to environmental science. Expand the range and definitions of sustainability beyond traditional disciplines, and leave with creative, concrete ways to help your students explore important sustainability concepts.
The all-day workshop will begin with real-life examples of how sustainability concepts have been integrated into diverse courses. Participants will then work in groups to evolve specific ideas for curriculum enhancement. Participants will receive financial support to implement these changes in courses over the coming year.
