As a geologist, Elizabeth studies the timing and tempo of human evolution using isotope geochemistry. In the interview, Elizabeth talks about her field work at fossil sites around the world, from Italy to Ethiopia, and discusses her undergraduate education in astrophysics and classics here at UCB.
