A renowned author and researcher, Dr. de Grey believes that regenerative medicine can put a stop to age-related disease, and that it could happen soon enough to benefit those alive today. Dr. Aubrey de Grey is an author and biomedical gerontologist. Known for his view that medical technology will soon allow for indefinitely-long human lifespans, Dr. de Grey is a Co-Founder and the Chief Science Officer of the SENS Research Foundation: a non-profit dedicated to the application of rejenerative medicine to age-related disease. In addition, Dr. de Grey is the Editor-in-Chief of the Rejuvenation Research, and is a fellow of American Aging Association and the Gerontological Society of America. Dr. de Grey earned both his BA in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Cambridge. In recent years, Dr. de Grey has given talks at organizations such as TED and Google, and has been interviewed by publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Popular Science, and the BBC.
